As part of an upcoming presentation, I thought it appropriate to use freely available, common technologies to survey end-users about Section 508 and issues surrounding accessibility of "social technologies".
So if you are getting here via an email I've sent you, please let me know your thoughts and respond to my questions if you are able. If you prefer, you can respond via posting here on this blog. It will be a part of my analysis of use.
Also, I will not use your name unless you explicitly tell me you wish it. So if you want to be mentioned or cited, please let me know by clearly stating it in your email or postings. If you do post, it will be via your account of course, but I will not directly reference or translate your alias in my presentation - but it will be here, open to public view.
The basic questions:
1. Did you get here from your work or personal computer or smartphone?
2. Did you share this link with other peers or friends?
3. What is your biggest accessibility concern with social web sites?
4. Did you make contacts that improved your 508 knowledge via a blog or social web site?
Thanks in advance!
