A Word About Accessibility of Blogger

I'm not designing in accessibility of this blogsite yet. I intend to use the site templates as-is, we the exception of:

1. I verified that there is a reasonable change the page is mostly standards compliant: it works without CSS and has foundational HTML.
2. I disabled CAPTCHA for postings, since for some strange reason google is using their inaccessible version here on blogger.
3. Verified you have to have an OpenID account to post. I didn't want anonymous comments via the blog. If you want something posted on your behalf, email me.

Of course, after I did this I found other people who address the same issues, and I'm sure there is more posts about blog accessibility to be found. Feel free to beat me with a cluestick - especially if there is something that prevents use, as opposed to technically fails compliance checks but still works.

  1. Check out webcontent.gov for terms of service related to many sites.
